What is Heat?
Heat is a new showcase from UKPPC, debuting in December 2025. Applications open 27th July. It’s designed for performers who want to be on a stage, but not in front of a huge audience or under the weight of competition pressure.
This is a small-scale, high-care event. Think fewer people, a more intimate space, and the kind of environment where being seen doesn’t have to mean being overwhelmed.
Heat is perfect if you’ve ever thought:
“I want to perform, but comps are too intense for me.”
“I want to share my story, but I don’t want to do it in front of 300 people.”
“I want to explore performance in a space that feels held.”
This is your space to bring your own personal fire.

VIP applications open
This early window is for those signed up early. It’s our way of giving folks who’ve expressed early interest a chance to apply first.
27 July 2025
General applications open
Applications open to everyone. You’ll apply through a simple online form — no need to submit a full routine plan or video.
30 August 2025
Applications close at midnight
This is the final date to get your submission in.
9 September 2025
Performers notified via email
We’ll contact everyone by email to confirm whether they’ve been offered a spot in the showcase.
20 November 2025
Music and bio deadline
If you’re performing, this is when we’ll need your track, bio and final details. We’ll remind you well ahead of time.

A calm, supportive environment with a small audience, thoughtful backstage care and a stage for you to perform in your own way.
